Bulky Waste
Bulky waste can be a major issue to dispose of – you currently have to pay for these. The Labour-led Council rejected our costed plan to reinstate them for free, this especially impacts people with disabilities or mobility issues. A Liberal Democrats-led council would:
- Restore free bulky waste collections – each household could claim two free collections a year
- Bring back special street collections, with additional help and support for people with disabilities
- Give Wards and their Councillors a discounted rate to book the special street collections
